Product Description

Fittonia is a lovely plant with delicately veined, deep green leaves. Although the most popular vein color is silvery white, you can also readily find fittonia with veins in pink, white, and green. They are available as trailing houseplants or low-growing creepers that are perfectly fit for terrariums or bottle gardens.

Temperature :

Thrives in average room temperatures between 16–24°C. Keep away from cold drafts and avoid temps below 10°C.

Lighting preference :

Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate low light. Avoid direct sunlight which can scorch its delicate leaves.

 Irrigation of water :

Likes consistently moist soil. Water when the top layer begins to dry, but don’t let it sit in soggy soil. Sensitive to drying out.

 Humidity :

Needs high humidity. Mist regularly or place in kitchens, bathrooms, or near a humidifier to keep leaves vibrant.

Fertilization and feeding :

Feed every 4–6 weeks in spring and summer with a diluted balanced fertilizer. Do not feed in winter.

 Flowering :

Produces small, insignificant white or reddish flowers indoors, but mainly grown for its striking patterned foliage.

 Soil :

Prefers a rich, well-draining potting mix with peat moss to retain moisture.
