————-

Temperature :

Thrives in warm conditions between 18–26°C. Avoid sudden temperature drops and never expose to below 15°C.

Lighting preference :

Needs bright, indirect light to maintain its vibrant yellow, orange, and red leaf colors. Can tolerate some direct morning sun, but avoid harsh midday sunlight.

 Irrigation of water :

Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry. Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Reduce watering in winter.

 Humidity :

Loves higher humidity levels. Mist leaves frequently or place near a humidifier to prevent leaf drop.

Fertilization and feeding :

Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced fertilizer. No feeding required in winter.

 Flowering :

Occasionally produces small, star-shaped flowers, but it’s mainly prized for its bold foliage.

 Soil :

Prefers rich, well-draining potting mix with peat and perlite.

 Toxicity :

Toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Sap may cause skin irritation—handle with care.

 Pot Size :

Best grown in medium to large pots with drainage. Repot every 2–3 years as needed.

Pruning :

Prune yellow or damaged leaves. Light pruning helps keep the plant compact and encourages bushier growth.

 Diseases :

Prone to spider mites, mealybugs, and scale if air is too dry. Overwatering can cause root rot.

 Air Purification :

Provides some air-purifying benefits while adding vibrant tropical color to indoor spaces.
